My name is Tony McKone and for the past 20 years I have been supporting business managers be successful in the management and leadership of their people.
I am passionate about helping business owners and managers improve their people management skills and achieving success through getting the best out of their people.
Having been a line manager before moving into human resources, I bring a personal understanding of the challenges that managers and employers face in the workplace.
I have had the privilege of having worked with and led some fantastic people in geographically dispersed sales teams, a contact centre, as well as in organisational HR teams. I have worked closely with management teams to help them implement their business strategies, bringing both my HR technical knowledge and previous management experience to the table and have years of practical experience undertaking employment investigations.
I am a Chartered Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ), a Certificate Holder of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), and hold a Graduate Diploma of Business Studies from Massey University (1999) and hold a Private Investigators Certificate of Approval from the Ministry of Justice to undertake independent employment investigations. My Certificate of Approval number is 20-075069.
